Oh, I'd missed the 'modern AU' implication (I was assuming that meant Coffee Shop AUs, Erik as a YouTuber, etc.)
The idea of having an Erik who conceives a passionate desire for a 1958 Plymouth Fury (to the extent of stealing her away from 'the boy') isn't going to work, then, for obvious reasons. At least that lets me off the hook so far as deadlines are concerned....
